Coronavirus Statement March 2020

Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust have taken the decision to suspend all face-to-face service delivery, effective from Tuesday, 17 March 2020. We believe this is in the best interests of our staff and volunteers as well as the carers who we support, many of whom care for someone with disabilities or serious health problems.

All groups and events will be postponed, initially until the end of April 2020.

During this time, we will: –

  • Maintain our helpline service
  • Direct Carers to appropriate health provision
  • Provide emotional support
  • Identify carers with high levels of need and offer keeping in touch calls
  • Increase our online presence
  • Utilise social media to remain in contact

Staff may be working remotely and our offices will not be accessible for carers during this time. We are aware that the need for information. advice and support for carers remains critical during these uncertain times. We shall do everything we can to make sure we are able to help.

We will endeavour to provide regular updates on this situation as we are aware of the rapidly changing advice issued.
